The Qatar Masters has been officially confirmed as part of the DP World Tour’s 2026 Race to Dubai season, reinforcing its status as a key fixture on the tour.
As per the DP World Tour’s website, the tournament will take place from 5–8 February 2026 at the iconic Doha Golf Club, a Peter Harradine-designed venue that has hosted 26 of the event’s 28 editions, with the 2020 and 2021 tournaments held at Education City, designed by José María Olazábal.
The Qatar Masters will feature a prize fund of US $2.75 million and will round off the DP World Tour’s annual Middle East swing. The 2026 Gulf schedule will begin with the Dubai Invitational, followed by the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, the Bahrain Championship, and will conclude with the Qatar Masters, creating a strong series of events in the region. Including the season-ending Play-Offs in November, with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the DP World Tour Championship, DP World Tour players will compete in six tournaments across the Middle East in 2026.

Past champions of the Qatar Masters include two-time winners Paul Lawrie, Adam Scott, and Branden Grace, alongside greats such as Ernie Els, Henrik Stenson, Thomas Bjorn, Sergio Garcia and most recently Haotong Li, all of whom have lifted the prestigious Mother of Pearl Trophy.
First played in 1998, the Qatar Masters remains a cornerstone of the DP World Tour’s schedule, showcasing world-class golf and continuing its tradition of attracting the sport’s top talent to Doha.
